Rock Candy Tutorial | Mom’s Crafty Space
Science! Delicious science! I know rock candy is just sugar, but these are so pretty and fun to make. If you don’t want to eat them like a lolly, you could always use them as stirrers for coffee and tea. I’ve heard that making rock candy can be a little difficult but I think it would be totally worth it. A great kid craft!

bestdayofmylife:

tonight i give you another ode to 101 cookbooks. on sunday when my mom and i made heidi’s veggie bouillon we also made this “magic sauce”. if the name doesn’t make you instantly want to cook it i don’t know what could, except that it’s super good.

this is a totally new recipe for me and it was 1- so easy and 2- so deliciously awesome. really, it’s just a mixture of herbs and spices that get warmed in olive oil making just a super delicious condiment to cook mostly anything with. last night i used it on our labor day burgers and they were fantastic. click through here for the recipe. you won’t regret it!!!
